The Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is located in Yilun Town, Mengla County. The park is divided into two parts: the eastern area and the western area. The West District is the main attraction. There are more than 20 specialized botanic gardens here. The “Exotic Flower Garden" is the most popular among tourists.
Here you can experience standing on a naturally-grown King Lotus and feel the magic of tropical Plants! Eastern District is a large area of old-growth tropical rain forest. Most areas are paved with viewing trails, suitable for travelers who enjoy trekking.
Mengle Great Buddhist Monastery

Located in the south of Mengyang Natural Reserves, Xishuangbanna Primitive Forest Park is located in the east of Jinghong City, north of Yongjiang River and is a primeval forest.
The main attraction is the Peacock Villa. When the trainers whistle, hundreds of peacocks will cross the sparkling lake, creating an awe-inspiring scene. The other two stations are the Ai'ni Village and the ethnic customs performing arts field. You can both watch the ethnic singing and dancing performances, and participate in the small Songkran Festival.

Located in the south of Mengyang Natural Reserves, Xishuangbanna Primitive Forest Park is located in the east of Jinghong City, north of Yongjiang River and is a primeval forest.

There are 5 villages in Dai Minority Garden. No matter which village you enter, you will find classical Buddhist temples and traditional bamboo houses of Dai people. Coconut palms, areca trees, mango trees, pineapple trees and other tropical trees can be seen in every corner of the village. Bamboo houses are enchanting framed by green trees.
